Legendary singer stops for Canada AM before heading to Oprah

Toronto, Ontario (January 12, 2005) - Tina Turner is stopping in Canada just long enough to perform for Canada AM viewers and then she's off to Chicago to be a guest on Oprah.

Throughout the show on Tuesday, Jan. 25, Tina will treat Canada AM viewers to a special performance, making the national morning show her only Canadian television performance in a North American publicity tour. Bringing her incredible on-stage charisma to viewers across the country, Tina will electrify audiences with three songs on Canada AM, including her new single Open Arms, which is has already hit radio waves in Canada.

The queen of rock will also be seen at Yonge and Bloor Streets in Toronto as Canada AM broadcasts on the enormous TV screen there. And one lucky viewer will get to see her live thanks to Canada AM, EMI Music Canada and the Delta Chelsea Hotel who are giving away the chance to win a trip for two to Toronto to see the exclusive performance.
